Abstract Art

Iván Hurtado, represented by Policroma, uses geometric shapes and color as narrative elements. Superimposed abstract shapes of different colors create volumes and cuts to build three-dimensional scenes where games and mixtures derived from the theory of color take part. Conceptualism

Santiago Pinyol, represented by SGR Galería, is the youngest artist of this group. His work presents a grid composed of a series of detailed segments that form a grid, what appears to be a whole composition. The frames are spread around and provide the opportunity to be rearranged to create new compositions. For more information about this group of artworks, click here.

Ecology, organic materials and artisanal practices

Miguel Böhmer, represented by [SN] maCarena, proposes an enlarge taxonomic revision of molluscs on his exhibition ammonites humpresianus, which reveals his interest in natural sciences and species extinction. For more information about this group of artworks, click here.
